My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bella was one of several mom cats and newborn kittens we rescued from a very dangerous South LA alley.  Abandoned by thier "owners" -- they were left behind when the people moved.

She took her responsibilities as a mom very seriously and spent many months devoted to raising her kittens (along with a few orphaned friends), tending to thier every need, teaching proper etiquette and grooming, keeping them all in line, while also letting them eat first so they'd grow up big and strong. We thought she was quite a demure and somewhat shy girl but now that the kids have flown the coop and she's in a foster home with room to spread her wings, she's showing us her true colors and being the silly, playful, joyful young lady she has always wanted to be.

She is extremely affectionate, bonds quickly with humans, and loves to cuddle on your lap.  Bella loves toy mice, balls, catnip, and she's a champ at video games for cats!    If you want the shiniest, prettiest, smartest, and most loving black cat, Bellissima is the girl for you.
