My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Candy Apple is a Lab mix. She is approximately seven months old. She weights forty pounds and growing bigger paws by the day. Apple has a glossy black coat that is softer than silk. She also has some chocolate brown highlights of fluff on her ears, between each toe and tail feathers. She inherited those traits from her mom who was a Chocolate Lab.
Apple loves her name and uniquely her. She is as sweet as a candy apple. She also gives bear hugs where she wraps her legs around your waist and gives you a hug when she thinks you need one. She also does apple turn overs when she wants her belly rubbed. In the mornings when she is sitting on your lap it’s like holding a warm cup of apple cider. When you come home (even after just being gone five minutes) it’s the same comforting feeling as walking in and smelling apple pie baking. And just like your Apple phone you can’t be without her. Apple’s puppy charm just melts your heart like apple butter on a warm biscuit.
Apple is gentle, mellow, calm and just fits in perfectly. Everybody loves her and she loves everybody. She adores dogs, and all dogs are new friends. Apple walks great on a leash. She loves her walks. She sleeps at night in her dog bed beside my bed, and sometimes jumps up for a quick cuddle and snuggles for a bit and then goes back to her bed where she has brought toys in to play with. Apple is potty trained and can use a doggie door.
Apple’s new family will need to have a yard with a secure block wall to keep her safe to run and play in. She loves outside yard time. She will need an active family who has time for a young pup that needs walks, exercise and continue training as she grows. Apple will need a lifetime commitment through all life changes. Apple’s new family will need to have another dog comparable in size that will run and play chase with her and play with her. She needs another built in dog buddy to be with. She has always had her two brothers to be with. She will need family members in and out or people who work from home. She would be very sad to be alone all day. Apple will make an awesome new family member and loyal friend. She will want to be included in all the family fun and activities. Once you have Apple at home, you cant imagine life without her!!
Apple is sunshine, happiness and love all wrapped up in a fur package with paws.
