Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Copper is a ridgeless Ridgeback, very handsome, and will be 2 years old in Feb 2024. We brought him home at 8 weeks old and he has been part of a 4-kid family (ages 3-8) ever since. He had professional puppy training and is very good at sit, place, stay, come. He is a great walker on a prong collar and stays with his family when off-leash. He has not been able to master how to leave the trash, toilet paper, socks and kid toys alone so he is crate-trained when no one is home and at night.
Sadly, the work-from-home job that allowed Copper company and freedom has changed and now both jobs will keep us out of the house for long days and into the evening due to kid activities. We don't think it's fair to such a high energy, young dog to be in a crate all day every day so we have made the tough decision as a family to see if we can find him a loving home with people who can give him all the attention, play time, and training/patience that he needs.
