My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ps. If you watch the end of the video, you can see her condition when she was found.
Hello there! I'm Peggy, a delightful two-year-old Goldendoodle and Labradoodle mix(based on my look) with a heart full of love and a spirit as bright as the sun. My story began in the heart of Turkey, where I found myself abandoned and alone, my once-shiny coat marred by patches of fur loss due to relentless mange. Despite the challenges, my eyes tell a tale of resilience—a spirit not yet broken.

Rescue Story:
In the Turkish forest, a rescue familiar with the plight of abandoned animals stumbled upon me. Skilled veterinarians treated my mange, provided nourishment, and slowly transformed the patches of bare skin into a soft coat. I became a favorite among the rescue staff, my wagging tail and appreciative eyes telling a tale of gratitude. Recently I live in a kennel in Turkey.

Character:
I'm a social butterfly always ready to shower affection on anyone who crosses my path. My tail wags with excitement, and my eyes sparkle with a playful energy that's contagious. My love for humans knows no bounds, making me the perfect companion for anyone seeking a loyal and loving friend.

Interactions:
I get along well with other dogs, embracing the joy of shared play and companionship. While my interactions with cats are unknown, my friendly and adaptable nature suggests that I may welcome cat friends with the right introduction and time to adjust.

Adventurous Spirit:
I'm an adventurer at heart, enjoying the outdoors, sniffing out new scents, and basking in the warmth of the sun. Interactive toys and games bring out my playful side, and I delight in the company of both human and canine companions. Yet, my favorite pastime is undoubtedly cuddling up with my human, reveling in the comfort of shared moments.

Ideal Home:
I'm seeking a forever home where my social nature can truly blossom. An environment with humans who appreciate my love for companionship and the possibility of furry friends for playtime would make my tail wag with happiness. My adaptable personality makes me an excellent addition to families or individuals looking for a loyal and affectionate dog.

Training and Health:
My energy level is moderate, and I already know how to walk with a leash. I'm comfortable on the leash, but please be prepared to train me or continue training. No health issues here—I'm fully vaccinated, neutered (Rabies, KC, and DHPP), and microchipped.

If you're ready to open your heart to a loving and resilient companion, I'm here, ready to embark on a new chapter filled with shared adventures and cherished moments. Apply for adoption today and be prepared for a lifetime of joy with Peggy!

Peggy can fly to Toronto or Vancouver when she finds her forever home!
