Berkus is a gentle and affectionate cat who was found abandoned with a large food container in an apartment complex parking lot. Despite his rough start, Berkus is incredibly loving and loves to be around other cats and people. He enjoys being pet and is not afraid to show his appreciation with loud purrs. He has a shortened tail and is also full of personality and will often make you laugh with his silly antics. Berkus does have a severe flea allergy, so he must have monthly treatment to ease his discomfort. Other than that, he is a healthy, happy cat who loves to cuddle and show off his purr-fect personality.

Adoption fee is $70.00

Our 9LCR cats are not routinely tested for FIV and FeLV for various reasons, one being to keep the costs and hence the adoption fee affordable. This decision is based on studies that have found that only about 4% of cats are actually infected. The funds for testing are better utilized for our spay and neuter efforts of owned and community cats in order to save the most cats. However, testing can be performed upon request and need to be covered by the person interested in adopting.
