My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there!

My name is Mr. Brown but sometimes I go by Mr. B, MB and Frito!
When I first arrived at HES, I was too afraid to let anyone near me but ever since coming into my foster home, I've made great strides!

I still am quite skittish, especially around new people so I'd do best in a home with experienced and patient owners. Though my fosters think I'll be good with kids in the future, adults are best for me now until I'm more comfortable with people in general. Having a fellow dog in the house is a must for me because they help me grow confidence and feel more comfortable! I am all about laying low but also I'm young so I'd love if my dog sibling is playful.

Since I didn't learn what being a "pet is until recently, I have some pretty silly traits. I don't understand kissing so when I want your attention or want to show you love, I'll just boop you instead. I also love treats and once I grab them, I let them dangle half out of my mouth to really savor the goodness. Oh, speaking of food, Parmesan cheese is my favorite food additive!

I'm crate trained, love dog toys, and want to become the best addition to your family - I just might need a little boost in confidence to do so! Even if I can't fully show it because of my fears, I promise cannot wait to meet you!
