Meet Shawl, Philly Bully Team's newest eligible bachelor. Shawl comes from our Southern Shelter partner who was rescued back in the summer of '22. He was given a full medical work up as he has a funny gait. It was determined that he probably experienced some trauma which effected his back legs, but it is not a progressive issue, and we expect him to continue to live a wonderful life. Ok, away from the medical stuff, Shawl is a very friendly kitty, living in a foster home with kids and other cats. He very much enjoys chasing toys and has a favorite taco and Lambie stuffie he plays with the most! He gets up and down stairs exceptionally well, can hop onto the couch to join you for a cuddle. While he gets around on all floor surfaces, it's easiest for him on carpet, or with mats for him to get better traction for his back legs. He will occasionally slip and his legs will splay, however, he gathers himself quickly and is back to moving about! It's advised that he not overeat to keep him limber and easily mobile. He is currently on some prescribed cat food so that you can lose a small amount of weight to help him move about comfortably. Adopt Shawl if you are looking for a wonderful forever friend!
