I am Looking For: My forever home! Hi- I'm Flower - a gorgeous girl looking for a home of my own. I won’t ask for much...just some love, cuddles and a sunny place to nap. And maybe a few toys too! I'm a bit shy and would do best in a quieter home with adopters that would give me time, patience, and lots of love while transitioning.

What My Foster Says About Me: Flower is a very special kitty-- she arrived at a shelter in South Carolina with a litter of kittens in summer 2023. After raising her kittens and seeing them off to their forever homes, Flower took over mothering duties for an orphaned litter, who she diligently cared for until they were ready to fly the nest, too. Because she was SUCH a good mother (and genuinely seemed to love her babies), Flower surrogate mothered one final litter before finally being spayed and finding a foster home of her own. Although Flower is a bit shy (I'm sure she spent most of her young life mothering kittens rather than learning to trust humans), she is incredibly sweet once comfortable. Recently, she's been approaching her foster mom for pets and clearly has the potential to be an amazing companion to adopter(s) in a quiet home. Flower has been waiting quite a while for someone to notice her quiet potential... can you give this wallflower a chance at happily ever after with you?

TO ADOPT: The adoption fee for adult cats will be $200 ($350 for two cats adopted together). Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

The adoption process begins when you submit an adoption application either online or at an adoption event. The individual responsible for the dog you are interested in adopting - a position we call the “adoption coordinator” - will then set up a time to discuss your application over the telephone. The adoption coordinator will check your vet reference to make sure all current and past pets were kept up-to-date with their shots and medical care. The adoption coordinator will also set up a home visit with one of our trained volunteers. That individual will come to your home to ensure that it is a safe environment, to confirm that everyone in the home is on board with adopting a dog, and to discuss any other questions you may have about dog adoption!

Our adoption events are held each weekend. A schedule of times and locations can be found at www.luckydoganimalrescue.org.
