Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Every dog without a family hurts our hearts but when the dog is a senior, it hurts maybe even a little bit more so. Myles is almost 9 years old and has been a faithful, true companion his entire life. His owner recently had a heart attack and can no longer care for him.
Precious Myles is a 9 yr old Plott Hound mix who is only 45lbs. Myles could be the inspiration for the phrase "good boy."
Myles is neutered, up-to-date on all of his medical care and vaccinations and is heartworm negative. He's consistently been on monthly heartworm and flea preventative.
Myles adores squeaky toys and walkies. He is completely potty trained, walks beautifully on a leash and responds to simple requests such as sit, stay, down and come. He's lived inside exclusively, is completely non-destructive and has always slept in bed with his owner.
Myles is quite passive and has no alpha instincts at all. He gets along with other dogs and families with little ones. He will lick the cheerios out of a toddler's hand if given the opportunity! Myles is healthy and youthful with many years ahead of him to be a beloved family member.
Myles is being fostered in Texas, but can travel to many states and even Canada.
