My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Nacho is a purring , affectionate, playful young boy who was rescued from an area in the Bronx that was overflowing with cats! We have worked hard to rescue as many cats from the vacant lot as possible- including sweetheart Nacho! Due to nothing Nacho could have done - he contracted FELV - feline leukemia. He has no idea he has it and wants nothing more than to love you. It is true that cats with FELV may live shorter lives but ask anyone who adopts FELV cats and they will tell you just how worth it adopting these cats is! They are adopted much less often because of the stigma associated and it breaks our hearts. Nacho is lucky to be in a very loving foster home and is ready for his forever home either as a single cat or to a home with other FeLV Cats !
Nacho is otherwise healthy  neutered,  has his FVRCP and Rabies vaccines , is microchipped, and treated for potential parasites and/or fleas.

More about this rescue

We rescue cats from the streets and from owner surrender, get them healthy, spay and neuter them, give them love, and find them loving forever homes. We are a 100% volunteer-run, 501(c)(3) non-profit, 100% No-Kill cat and kitten rescue group. When you adopt a cat from us or one of our fosters, we will be able to rescue another cat!
