Dorothy - You are the bridge between what was and what will be, my pathway to a new life!
Just like Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz, I'm a lil girl that finds herself in a strange and new world. I'm trying to be brave like her but sometimes I can be a tad bit on the shy side at first meet, but treats makes everything better!! A NY second (not even the whole minute) and a few treats and my true loving personality shines thru.
At around 2 years old I'm at that awesome age that is still active and playful but out of the puppy destructive stage. I am house and crate trained which is a nice bonus. I'm also great with people both tall and small, the other foster pups here and I even do good with the resident cat.
I come in at only 15lbs which is also an awesome size for tagging along on your everyday going ons, along with nature trails or neighborhood strolls, walks to the local coffee shop, co-piloting errand runs into town or trips to the park. What a great size for all that but get this, I'm also make for a great lap warmer!!
My coat is on the shorter side with just a little bit of scruff giving me that adorable look but it also makes for me being on the low end for maintenance in the grooming department. And you do know what that means don't you? Oh yeah, lots of extra time in the 'spoil me rotten' department. My favoritest time, you and me time!!
