My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I was so scared when my siblings and I showed up to our new foster mom's house. We were really unsure for the first few hours but as we got comfortable, we really warmed up to our new mom and big canine foster brother and two feline foster brothers.
My foster mom tells me every day how sweet and smart I am! She tells me that I am the cutest little guy in the room and gives me kisses and snuggles which I love. She also says I'm the best because I am potty trained to my whelping pad and even use the porch potty during the day! I am enjoying my time here at my foster mom's house, chewing on my bones, and sitting out in the sun! I would really like to have a family of my own though… Do you think you might want to be my new family?

If you are interested in meeting Redondo, please download the Adoption Questionnaire, fill it out and email it back to us at info@farescue.org or fax (310) 362-0321. You can also meet this and/or other available dogs at our weekend adoptions.

[Redono was born on 9/25/23 and weighs 8 lbs.]

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

All potential adopters are carefully screened through our adoption process:

- If you're interested in an animal, we'll ask that you fill out a questionnaire, which we will review to ensure you and the dog you are interested in adopting are a good match.

- You will be asked to submit to a "home safety check" to determine the level of safety and adequacy of the area for the dog.

- An adoption fee is required and you must sign the adoption agreement, which ensures that if, for any reason, you are unable to keep the dog, he/she to be returned to Forte Animal Rescue only.

- Finally, we personally deliver your new family member to your home.

- Any additional donation would be greatly appreciated, and this portion will be tax-deductible. The donation goes to pay for all of the other animals in our care, many of which come to us with injuries or medical conditions that require treatment. Forte Animal Rescue survives solely on donations and it is for this reason that the adoption fee is nonnegotiable.

- Forte Animal Rescue reserves the right to cancel the adoption process at any time if the home situation or adoptive family has been misrepresented, if certain information was withheld, or if the dog is determined to be a better match with another family.
