Hi there! My name is Lincoln! I am so excited to meet you! I do need to stay calm right now as I finish my heartworm treatment but that doesn`t stop me from dreaming of the adventures we will get to go on. Maybe one day we can go for long hikes and trips to the beach. I really look forward to my new human teaching me how to keep my paws on the ground and how to express my excitement in a productive way. I am working on “sit”, “down” and “wait”. I hope we can continue my lessons at home!
I am full grown at ~60 lbs. How did I get here? Transferred from Wake County Animal Center.
*I have been diagnosed with heartworm disease and have begun treatment - please speak with an adoption specialist for details. I am currently living at the admission center - please fill out a survey and select a phone appointment to complete the adoption process. Once that process is complete, your adoption specialist will schedule a time for you to meet me in person!*
~My adoption fee is $95.00.~

More about this rescue
The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) of Wake County is dedicated to creating a more humane community where every adoptable animal has a home. Each year the SPCA rehomes over 3,500 animals through its innovative adoption programs.
The mission of the SPCA is to transform the lives of pets and people through protection, care, education, and adoption.
The SPCA of Wake County is a local, independent, non-profit organization that receives no government funding or tax dollars. We rely almost entirely on private donations to fund our annual operating budget of $3 million. The SPCA of Wake County is not affiliated with, nor do we receive funding from the ASPCA (American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals).
