Here's what the humans have to say about me:
They call me Stretch ( I am pretty long lol and weigh 12LBS) and I am a proud dachshund. I spent the first 10 months of my life in a kennel with very little love and attention. Do not ask me why no one wanted me because I think I am great! But that is in the past because now I am rescued and living with my foster family and foster siblings. Boy, I am learning a lot! To start with, did you know you aren’t supposed to go potty inside? Well, that’s my first priority but the good news is that I am smart and should learn quickly and I am also crate trained. Walking on lead is also important and I am making gains with that. I love playing with my humans and siblings but have not yet seen the value of playing with toys. Another thing I know I love is sleeping on my foster mom’s lap. She says I keep her warm on these cold winter days. Outside, I like to poke my nose into all the bushes and run with my siblings.
You will be glad to know that I am well taken care of. I am up to date on all vaccinations, on heartworm, flea/tick preventative and getting neutered soon. I am very much ready for my forever family which could be a single person or family. I would also be ok in a home, apartment or condo. I get along well with other dogs so I would fit into a home with other dogs or soak up the love by being the only dog.
Do you think you are the family for me? My adoption fee is 975.00 (up dated on all vaccines and just got neutered) - I am worth every penny. I love you and be your constant companion every day which is priceless.
