Meet Brown🧡
Brown was rescued from a dog meat farm in Jeongeup along with his four littermates when he was just a puppy. After spending a year at the Jeongeup Shelter, he was put on the euthanasia list, but ADogs intervened just in time and rescued the siblings. Brown now lives peacefully with his rescued friends.
• With People: Brown has a gentle and cautious personality. He may be a bit shy at first, but he’s also curious—he’ll approach new visitors slowly, especially if they have treats. With shelter staff and familiar people, he shows sweet affection, even offering kisses.
• With Dogs: He prefers to keep to himself and doesn’t actively seek out other dogs, but he coexists peacefully with them. He’s an independent spirit who enjoys his alone time.
• With Cats: He gets very excited when he sees cats, so it’s best to avoid interactions or walks near cats.
• Separation Anxiety: Unknown due to group living at the shelter.
• Potty Training: He currently goes only outdoors for potty.
• Grooming & Handling: He tolerates baths calmly and accepts drying, though he freezes up a little from fear. He doesn’t enjoy nail clipping or brushing, but he’s very non-aggressive and cooperative with short sessions.
• Walking & Leash Training: A perfect walker! He walks in sync without pulling and seems to truly enjoy his walks.
• Car Rides: He rides comfortably in the car and shows no signs of motion sickness.
💌Special Notes💌
• Brown seems more comfortable wearing a collar than a harness.
• He has coprophagia (stool eating), so it’s important to clean up right after potty. This behavior often improves with training in a home environment.

All our dogs fly from South Korea to the US when their adoptions are finalized so the adopters cannot go through "meet and greet."
But once applicants pass zoom interview, we will connect adopter to foster team for the most up to date news as well as photos and videos. The adopter can post any questions and can make video call as well.
Please hold our dog's hands so that they can forget about the painful past and live happily.

More about this rescue
ADOGS(Adopt Dogs), a non-profit organization, is an abandoned dog foster/adoption organization launched by an individual volunteer group that has rescued, fostered, adopted dogs since 2018.
We are conducting rescue, foster, adopt from South Korea rural shelter. We also rescue dogs irregularly from illegal dog farms or any other places that need help.
We rescue large and small dogs of all breeds, including dogs with special needs.
Although we can't save all abandoned dogs in the world, we are doing our best to the dogs in front of us so that their lives can be changed like any other pets.
In expanding our search for adoption leads, we’ve broadened our mission: To bring at-risk dogs across the Pacific to loving stateside families.
Due to limited demand for large-breed dogs in Korea, arranging for local adoption has proven almost impossible. Instead, we seek to bring these persecuted dogs to the United States where dogs have a higher chance for adoption and survival.
