This is Daisy-Phoenix. She is a sweet hound dog, who loves to go on walks and smell the flowers. She would do great with someone who has land and could have a job. She needs some thing to do to keep her busy.
She is a people dog for sure! She would do better in a home where she is the only animal, so she can have all of the attention. Daisy does love snuggle time, but also likes to have her own safe space when eating.
She will make someone a great companion. Please come take her for a walk and see if she is perfect for you!

Meet and fall in love with your future four-legged family member at one of our adoption centers or offsite events. The adoption process takes at least 90 minutes.

Our adoption fees are as follows:
Adult Dogs $150 (1+ years old & over 30 lbs)
Adult Dogs $225 (1+ years old & under 30 lbs)
Puppies $275 (under 1 year)
Adult Cats $85 (1 year and older)
Kittens $135 (under 1 year)

All of our animals receive:
Spaying or Neutering
Current Vaccinations and/or Rabies Vaccination Voucher
Microchip
Heartworm Screening for Dogs
Leukemia Test for Cats
30 days of Free Pet Health Insurance from 24PetWatch

Texas Humane Heroes (EIN 74-2069592) is a no kill, private, nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization. Established in 1979, we support communities throughout the entire state of Texas.
We pull dogs and cats into our program from overcrowded shelters that are often forced to euthanize. In 2020, Texas Humane Heroes rescued 4,378 dogs and cats from 89 shelters across the state of Texas. We have Adoption Centers in Leander and Killeen, Texas.
