My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Everyone meet Beau!

Beau is a 1 year old pup who we believe to be a Weimaraner/Plott Hound mix. His fur is typical Weimaraner length with a silky blue brindle coloring that is just gorgeous. Beau is a big boy who loves to play, and he will need a family prepared for a big, happy puppy. He is housetrained, crate trained and knows some basic commands. Like most young dogs, he would definitely benefit from doing a training course with his new family. He is good with other dogs and we would like for him to find a family with another dog near his size.

Beau is neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped and ready to go home! He is fostered in Lakeland, Florida and his adoption fee is $300. If you are interested in having Beau join your family, please complete an adoption application at the link below!

More about this rescue

We are a non-breed specific dog rescue group, although we do tend to take in mostly large and extra-large breeds, and especially those in the hunting / sporting groups.

Love for Paws exists to protect and advocate for dogs in our community through responsible adoption, the donation of supplies and veterinary care to those in need, by assisting in the effort to limit the overpopulation of these animals and by promoting kindness and healthy opportunity for life.
