My name is Elmer!

We're just gonna say it: Elmer is a straight-up looker.
Maybe it's the ginormous ears, or his freckled chest.
Maybe it's that look in his eyes that tells you he has a lot on his mind and, at the same time... crickets.

Okay, we're kidding about that last part. Elmer is a genius.
A genius at being handsome. A genius at chasing tennis balls.
A genius at being a very good boy.

He's very friendly with people. We're not sure about children, because we haven't had a chance to observe him interacting with small-size humans.

Elmer would like fly solo as your only pupper, if you're okay with that. Other dogs are not his jam. People are his jam.

He's had a lot of experience living in a home and cannot wait to get back into one. Elmer was adopted in 2019. He recently had to come back to PAWS because his people were moving, which is a very common reason pets find themselves back in shelters.
