Pinky Tuscadero wasn't sure what to make of her photoshoot; no one has ever asked to take her portrait before. But, she liked Fred, our volunteer photographer, so she decided to trust the process and looked the camera right in the eye. In return, Fred captured some of Pinky's spark, don't you think?
Pinky is a cool cucumber, steady, not in a hurry, always willing to stop and say hello.
She prefers the laidback life -- sunning herself, gentle walks, please let's not hurry or count steps on our Apple watches. She doesn't even have a watch.
Pinky is a 50-pound thiccckkk lady who (we think) looks like a pittie-mix with a little glitter and cotton candy mixed in. Her eyes are so soulful, they stop us in our tracks. Seriously. Swipe through and look at those eyes.
Some fool human cropped her ears. The same human, we surmise, left Pinky behind one night outside our gate. Pinky harbors no ill will. She's all love, that girl.
The only shortcoming we have observed is a slight fixation with squirrels that this chunky lady has zero chance of actually catching. But, hope is very much alive in Pinky's heart. So, mind the leash if she sees one of them there critters .
