Iris - You are the bridge between what was and what will be, my pathway to a new life!
The Iris flower represents 'Hope, Trust, Faith and Wisdom'. A perfect name for me as I have hope for a new life, trust that YOU will be the one and the wisdom to have faith that my new family is reading this bio right now!!
I am at the perfect age of 3 years. I'm still active and playful, ready to have a blast with you on our action packed adventures but out of that puppy destructive stage. I am a tad bit shy at first meet but if you have treats it only takes me a NY second (not even the whole minute) to show my true loving self. Oh and guess what? I'm already house trained!!
I come in at only around 40lbs which is also perfect. I'm big enough for all those said adventures (and everything is an adventure to me!) but not so big that I take up the whole couch. And since I'm at my adult weight there's no guessing on how big I'll be, what you see is what you'll be getting!!
I get on great with people both tall and small and the other foster pups here. I would do great with a playful sibling (2 or 4 legged variety) or as your one and only!
My coat is on the shorter side with some fringes that would require just a few brushings a week for me to stay looking my gorgeous self. And you do know what that means don't you? Oh my yep, that leaves us lots of extra time to 'spoil me rotten'. That's my most favoritest time, you and me time!!
