My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

WE ARE A TX BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application found at haydudeequine.org

Skipper - You are the bridge between what was and what will be, my pathway to a new life!

My name is Skipper and I seem to have lost my SS Minnow. So it appears that I'm now indeed searching for a new fur-ever crew where we could take that '3 hour' tour...err, maybe we should make that tour on land. I'm hoping to enjoy many many tours with my new crew!!

I'm around 11 months old, so still just a youngster. Much too young to be a captain. I'm more than ready to leave the captain-ing to you. I'm very friendly and outgoing, always ready to play ball and I do great with...everyone! Kiddos, puppers and even cats! I really love my people and there isn't anything better than being with them.

I'm around the 40ish lb range and shouldn't get much bigger at my adult weight. And let me tell you that's a perfect size. I'm big enough to go on all our '3 hour' tours but still have plenty of space for the both of us on the couch for our beloved cuddle time. Now that does sound about perfect!

My beautifully colored sleek shiny coat is low maintenance in the grooming department. That's makes me more of a wash-n-to type of fella. And guess what that means, oh my you're right, lots of extra time for my 'spoil me rotten' time, my favoritest, you and me time!! Oh my, what dreams are made of!!

If you are in need of a constant in your life, a BFF that will have your back no matter what, I could be your boy. If you're looking for a pawtner to share your life adventures (everything is an adventure to me), I could be your boy. If you're in need of a slightly clingy, very snuggly skipper to never be too far away ready for any and all your '3 hour' tours, I could be your boy!!!
Please fill out my adoption application today to see if I could indeed be your boy!
