Freya is a sweet tricolor Sheltie who had a rough start to life. She was confined to a small place with 30 other dogs and had little human interaction. In foster care, she has learned that humans are safe, but she is still very shy! She will need an adopter who will be willing to work with her and build her confidence. She will also need another dog to show her the ropes. We are looking for someone within a 2 hour radius of the Omaha NE area to adopt Freya. Please note that a fence is required.

More about this rescue
We are Nebraska Sheltie Rescue. We've been in business for three years. Our focus is on Shelties because we love the breed. We have occasionally taken in a dog of another breed. We are not a shelter or facility. Our dogs are all housed in foster homes while they wait for their fur-ever homes!
