Meet Winter Sky- a GORGEOUS medium length haired Siamese kitten . She was found on Christmas Day outside of the Race Trac. We don’t know if she was lost or dumped but knew she needed a better life. She is 3 months old.
PERSONALITY: She is SOOOO SWEET. She is very easy to hold and will nestle her little head into your neck. She purrs very easily and loves to knead. She can be a little shy but warms up exceptionally well. I have kids as young as 6 and she does great with them. She has met my cat and just loves him and wants to pounce on him to play.
She is using the cat box well and eating lots of wet food. Twice daily .Read at the very bottom to learn why it is actually vital for cats to get wet food daily (and why limiting the crappy dry food is key).
VETTING: She was just spayed, has rabies and distemper vaccine, dewormed, microchipped and has flea prevention on. She is ready for her forever home and can be adopted this Sunday Jan. 7th, 2024.

-If you want to adopt
: 1) please show up with cat carrier.
2) We give you copies of all forms.
3) we take photo of you and newly adopted pet.
4) we go over pet education packet as we do with anyone who adopts from us so you have a successful adoption.
5) adoption fee $200 (she is already spayed, has rabies and distemper vaccine,, microchipped, & dewormed). our fee is higher for her as it helps us keep fees low for our harder to adopt cats and is also helping us build our cat room which is DESPERATELY needed. We are funded on our own and are all volunteers.
6) We take any kitty back if it isn’t working out . But all kittens need time to adjust

(More on wet food) Pease remember; our cats have a low thirst drive and NEED the moisture in the wet food. Since wet food is 75% moisture and dry food only 10%, that is huge for our felines. Cats need wet food daily to avoid a lot of dehydration related medical problems long term like urinary tract issues which can lead to litter box ovoidance and kidney disease or obesity issues linked to diabetes..
****How much?**** At least one (3oz. can a day but 2 cans recommended) or 1/2 of a 5oz. Can of Friskies pate wet food a day (although one full can, half in morning and other half at night, is recommended ).
