What is Rehome?
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Charlie is a 1 yo, full of love male pit mix. He was an owner surrender who was adopted at 8 weeks old, soon after his elderly owner couldn't handle his size and puppy energy. Unfortunately, he ended up spending all his time in a crate for 9 months! Now in foster care Charlie is finally getting the chance to learn how to be a dog! Despite his rough start he is a confident, playful and friendly to all! He loves his 2 pup sisters, 5 cat brothers and many k-9 cousins. He loves to go on walks and would make an excellent hiking or jogging partner! He has made lots of improvement with basic obedience, leash training and learning house boundaries. He even knows how to walk on a treadmill! Charlie's ideal home would be a fenced in yard with another dog to play with. He will need regular exercise and a patient hand as he finishes out his basic training. He loves people so much that it’s hard for him to control his body! So no small children at this time. Charlie has also been DNA tested.
