My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

*Name: Athena

*Age: est DOB 11/6/23

*Current Weight: 14 lbs

*Rescued from: South Carolina

*Adoption fee: $550  (plus $150 spay/neuter deposit, see below for more information)

Meet Athena, the enchanting 15-week-old brindle pup with a heart of gold and a tale of resilience. Athena and her courageous mom, alongside her two siblings, were discovered as strays in the picturesque landscapes of South Carolina. Despite their rough start, Athena has emerged as a beacon of hope and joy, ready to embark on a new chapter in her life.

With a coat resembling the intricate patterns of swirling galaxies, Athena's eyes gleam with curiosity and warmth. Her playful spirit knows no bounds, and her boundless energy is matched only by her affectionate nature. From romping around the grassy fields to cuddling up for a nap, Athena is a master of both adventure and relaxation.

This little dynamo is as intelligent as she is charming, showcasing an eagerness to learn and please. Training sessions are not just about commands but also about the joy of bonding and discovering new things together. Athena's love for life is contagious, and she's seeking a loving family who can match her enthusiasm and offer the patience and guidance she deserves.

Athena's ideal forever home would be one filled with love, laughter, and perhaps a yard where she can frolic and explore to her heart's content. She's ready to shower her future family with endless tail wags, puppy kisses, and unwavering loyalty. Are you ready to welcome this spirited soul into your life and create countless cherished memories together? If so, Athena is more than ready to make your home her forever haven.

SNARR Northeast Animal Rescue's mission is "Giving Hope to the Hopeless.” SNARR stands for Special Needs Animal Rescue and Rehabilitation. We do focus on animals with special needs but we also rescue perfectly healthy dogs as well! SNARR works with municipal shelters all over the country to save animals at risk for being euthanized. Our dogs (and cats) are all in foster homes prior to being adopted.
