Meet Tammy!

Oh sweet Tammy - we all adore her so much. She came to us from a terrible hoarding situation. She lived in a hoarding home with 60 other dogs, all crammed into one space. The home caught on fire and most of the dogs passed away. Tammy and a few others survived (Lexie is another survivor, also available for adoption). She came to us terrified and so so timid. She spent some time in our rehabilitation facility and has been in a foster home for the past few months. She has come so far!

Tammy is a gentle soul with not a mean bone in her body. She has the most adorable underbite and lovely gentle eyes. She is excellent with other dogs and needs them around to help build her confidence. She is timid with humans and it takes time to win her trust. When she loves you, she will greet you with a wagging tail and wiggly bottom every time she sees you. She grew up without much social interaction which is common for hoarding dogs. She still has things to learn and we are hoping to find her a family who can continue working with her and who understand that she is a sensitive soul.

Tammy can walk on a leash very well and enjoys walks. A more quiet residential neighborhood will be best for her - busy roads and unexpected noises can be a little scary for her.

This girl has been through so much and deserves nothing but the best. She must have another dog in the home and will do best in a home with older kids.

Tammy is spayed, vaccinated and chipped. Her adoption fee is $395.
