Hello there! I'm Ponderoso, a big, cheerful young fellow with a heart as large as my size. Have you ever seen a dog with a widow's peak and a slightly wrinkled, inquisitive face? That's me! I'm quite a unique character in looks and spirit. Imagine a day filled with sunny greetings and wiggly excitement - that's a day with me!

My idea of fun? Well, I'm all about playing fetch, or more accurately, the thrilling chase after the ball. Bath time? Love it! It's like a spa day followed by all the cuddles and pets I can soak up. I'm a social butterfly, both with my canine pals and human friends. Life is a party, and I'm ready to share it with you. Let's make every day an adventure filled with joy and playful discoveries!

LifeLine embraces the Adopters Welcome approach. This philosophy encourages conversation-based and open-minded adoptions, enabling us to find more homes for our shelter pets without unnecessary judgment.
We have many wonderful pets waiting to be yours! Adoption fees are $85 for dogs and $65 for cats (Dogs over 5 years old, $40). The adoption fee to persons over 55 years old is $40. Adoptions includes spay/neuter, age-appropriate vaccinations, deworming, microchipping, heartworm test, fecal test, and Feline Leukemia/FIV test for cats.

Monday – Friday: 11:00am – 7:00pm
Saturday & Sunday: 11:00am – 6:00pm
Closed these holidays: New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King Day, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.
