Sanchez came into the shelter in April 2023 and is now living in a foster home. His foster mom has this to say about him:
"To say that this boy is ready to find his furever family is a HUGE understatement. He is truly such a wonderful dog. Everybody who meets him just smiles and loves him right away. Our neighbors in our condo building have been giving us a very hard time about us not keeping him - ‘He's such a good boy!' ‘We love him' they say. We have to keep explaining that, as heartbreaking as it will be to let him get adopted, when we imagine his perfect home with a fenced yard and a family that can give him lots of love and attention, we know that it will be worth it. Plus, that will free us up for our next foster! Sanchez could not be more precious. I dare you to let him look at you with his big amber-colored eyes and not melt into a giant puddle."
Sanchez is also super treat-motivated and can likely learn anything you want to teach him...as long as there are treats involved.
Sanchez loves all humans, including kiddos. He does get super excited to meet new people and might do best with kids that are bigger than toddlers.
If you're not a puddle yet...please keep reading. Sanchez is: - super affectionate - happy to meet anyone and everyone - potty trained - crate trained - dog-friendly with slow intros - a huge fan of car rides - medium energy
