What is Rehome?
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Bear is a great dog. We got him from when he was a few weeks old, he’ll be 4 in March 2024.
At the time, we had no kids and really enjoyed taking him on walks, playing fetch, and going to the dog park.
Since then, we’ve had 3 kids, and we started to consider rehoming him when we found out we were having twins (now a week old). Because of our big life changes, bear is getting less of our time and has turned into more of a chore than a blessing.
We want to put him into a good home where he can continue being a dog with a dedicated owner.
He’s house trained. Does great with kids. He has a great temperment, and has never had a problem with any other dogs. Our in laws do have a cat that he’s not fond of, but we’re not around a lot of cats so not sure if it’s just that one.
He does have good energy for a dog, so would probably do best with an owner that enjoys walks, dog park, etc. or had a backyard bear could run around in. Happy to answer any questions.
