If you like your dogs big, then we have one for you. Scoops came to Pet Friends from Animal Control after being picked up as a stray who was roaming town along with another dog (Addy) that is also now a resident of Pet Friends. After getting to know Scoops, it is huge mystery why anyone would abandon a dog this sweet. Despite her size, she is quite shy and skittish around people she has never met, but once she learns to trust you, Scoops is a love bug who craves human companionship. It also seems obvious that she has not been exposed to much of the world so she could use a patient owner who will slowly introduce her to new experiences in order to build Scoop's self-confidence. In the spirit of full disclosure, Scoops is likely a pure-bred or partial Mastiff, so drool should be expected! She seems good with other dogs, knows some basic commands and walks well on a leash. In an ideal world, Scoops would be adopted with her roamin' buddy Addy, but it is not a requirement. Come and meet Scoops - she will steal your heart in a big way.
