Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Maxine is a beautiful english bulldog mix with a lot of happy energy! She is very much a "people dog", and does great with children too. Maxine would be best as an only dog.

Maxine is potty trained, kennel trained, and knows basic commands like sit, down, wait for food. Would be best with kids 10+ due to her hyper personality.

Adoption process requires an interview with adopter, ad adoption agreement, plus spay/neuter deposit if animal is not spayed/neutered.

Jelly's Place is a rescue and No-kill shelter founded in 2017 to be an advocate for the lives and dignity of urban animals who are homeless, abandoned, impounded, sick, or injured, by providing responsible care, placement, and community education. Its founder, Julie Bainbridge, has been rescuing and fostering animals since childhood. She has rescued, fostered, and /or raised all kinds of animals, including baby squirrels, raccoons, pigeons, chickens, geese, ducks, skunks (yes- skunks), wild and tropical birds, pigmey goats, mice, snakes, rabbits, dogs, and cats. Some animals are cared for by volunteers in their homes.
Jelly's Place is named in memory of her beloved English Bulldog who crossed over the Rainbow bridge in 2016. Jelly's Place is a 501 (3)(c) nonprofit organization and donations are tax deductible.
Jelly's Place depends on donations, grants, and volunteers to foster and care for animals.
