The Shakespeare Puppies are a litter of 4 month old German Shepherd mix puppies. They were surrendered to us after Mama got busy with a few neighborhood boys and had a litter. Mom got fixed, so no more late night romance for her! These puppies will be large when fully grown so they are perfect for large dog lovers! This litter is 2 girls. We will be looking for individual homes for each puppy as we do not place siblings together.

The puppies wake up around 7 AM and get breakfast as their pen is cleaned out. They spend the morning romping back and forth from the toy bin and the backyard, chasing each other in between activities and naps. They have lunch around 1 PM before their afternoon nap. They race around the backyard in the late afternoon before they have dinner at 5 PM and then get some training in. They are very food motivated hungry little hippos! Before bed, they wind down with some cuddles and snuggles. They sleep in a pen connected to a crate and pile together to dream of sonnets through the night.

Titania: Queen Titania is Queen of Cuddles! She is the sibling most likely to hang back while her littermates are pouncing on each other in the yard. She loves to spend her days being cuddled like a baby, giving kisses and hugs out to all who meet her. Titania does love a romp around with her brother and sisters, but she knows that the best way to get attention is to sneak away for snuggles. This lovely gal will cast a spell over you and you will fall in love!

Viola: Little Viola is Little Miss Independent. She absolutely loves investigating the sights and sounds of the backyard, the toy bin, the puppy pen, and any other room she is allowed in. She also loves to zoom around with her siblings, showing off her skills as a runner! Viola is an absolute sweetheart and helps keep her siblings in line when they are being chaotic, and shows love to all who meet her!

The Shakespeare Puppies are only an option for those who have owned a dog in the past 5 years. Homes with previous large breed experience will be prioritized as we want to ensure families are ready for the energy level and intelligence of the breed mix. Kids in the home should be over the age of 7.

More about this rescue

We are passionate folks who love dogs and love people! We strive to make the most appropriate match between human and canine. Because our dogs live in foster homes we know about their temperament and personality and therefore can help families and individuals decide if the dog is a good match or not. We are excited to help people find the right pooch for them and look forward to meeting great folks and welcoming them into the DPS Family.
