Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Angel is an adorableTerrier mix!
We do not know much about Angel's background but we believe she was kept in a crate too small for her, likely for the majority of her first 6 months. This caused paw deformity and mobility issues, but she is recovering very well with medications, supplements and physical therapy! She loves to run and play now!
Angel is happy and affectionate, displaying behavior akin to a jumpy bunny! She craves human attention and companionship, demonstrating contentment in the presence of people and other animals.
She is friendly towards both strangers and familiar individuals, often seeking interaction and affection. She has shown curiosity and gentleness around other animals, including dogs, cats, and chickens!
Angel enjoys various toys, treats, and outdoor activities, particularly hopping around the yard and playing chase. She has a fondness for pig ears, dehydrated meat, cow bladder, and chew bones.
Angel is undergoing treatment for her limb deformity with a regimen including fermented fish stock, unpasteurized cow milk, mushroom powder, joint powder, and joint chews. She has been spayed, and vaccinated.
An ideal home for Angel would be one with other animals, a backyard, and no stairs. Prospective adopters should be prepared for possible long-term effects on her leg development, which may require ongoing medical support. Supporting her adjustment and well-being may involve behavioral training classes, physical therapy.
Despite her current limitations, she is a playful, sweet girl who deserves a wonderful, loving home!

More about this rescue
We are a tax exempt nonprofit 501c3 based in San Antonio,Texas. Formed in 2017, our mission is to raise funds for animal rescue and find forever homes for our adoptable cats and dogs. To fund our charitable animal rescue efforts we rely solely on the much needed donations of our generous supporters. We can't do it without you!
Your donation directly helps the animals in need, as we do not draw any salaries. We rehabilitate and then adopt our cats and dogs to amazing pet owners not only in San Antonio but throughout the country. We work with many local shelters, rescues and individuals to save as many as we can.
