Sweet Pistachio, a 9 month old kitten, is best described as Lara Croft or Xena Warrior Princess: equal parts adventurer - playful and loving - plus mischievous "tortie-tude.”. She enjoys a good back scritchy, rewarding you with an elevator butt and light purrs. This clever girl likes running and batting around toy mice, plastic springs, and pieces of orchid plant bark. She is a skilled hunter for the occasional fly that wanders inside. She weaves between the her foster dog’s legs and raises her front paws up in surprise! Her favorite activities are lying in the sun, looking out the window, chirping at insects and birds that fly by. Pistachio is looking for a stable cat experienced home with another older cat or she can be an only cat. She is in a foster home with her brother, older cats, and a large, calm dog. Pistachio is spayed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and negative for FIV/FeLV. To adopt Pistachio, please request an application at esvhadopt@gmail.com

Adopting a kitty (refers to both cats and kittens), is fun and at the same time, a lifetime commitment. An application is given to potential adopters asking some basic questions. There is an adoption agreement reflecting all the vet information and agreement terms. Foster parents are always delighted to answer questions. To provide continuity for the kitty, the foster parent will deliver the kitty to the new home. To help defray the cost of veterinary care, we ask an adoption fee of $125.00 or two for $200.00. For older cats, we often have sponsors to cover the fee.

Marin Cat Connection is an all volunteer non-profit dedicated to cat rescue, adoptions and education. Before our kitties are available for adoption, they have a thorough exam with a veterinarian, are tested for FELV/FIV, spayed/ neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and receive any additional care so they are healthy and ready to go to their new home. All of our kitties are fostered by our loving volunteers, so we can provide you with extensive personality information about them. We rescue these wonder kitties since there are so many that need help and homes. We are grate that you are interested them a home. We care about your wishes and expectations regarding your new "family member".
