My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Date of Birth November 14, 2023

***NOTHING LINES UP ON THIS LITTER and we are guessing at BEST - What we are sure of is their temperament and they are 100% SWEET & TRUSTING***

Those of us in rescue have animals that hurt our heart on a deep soul level...such is the story of Ozzy our little rockstar puppy and siblings Janice Joplin and Jimi Hendriz. These puppies were being given away for FREE on Facebook the beginning of the year and a board member reached out to owner to bring into our care. Thank goodness she did. The post said the pups are Lab/Pitty mix and 10 weeks old. Upon arriving to the rescue they looked very sickly and 6-7 weeks at best. Our hearts all dropped as these three babies were nonengaged with their vacant little stares. We quickly weighed them and they were between 3-5 pounds with rotund worm bellies.

Sick babies...off to the vet they go and all begin immediate treatment. Vet ages them at {7} weeks based on teeth but breed sure doesn't line up with their size as a {7} week old Lab/Pitty pup should weigh anywhere from 10-15 pounds...and they are 3.25 to 5. Ozzy is an adorable little guy and oh so cuddly and trusting - and makes me cry to think if we hadn't rescued these pups when we did - I really don't think they would be alive today.

Ozzy is sterilized and up to date on his vaccines/deworming/flea preventative. I promise you a darn near perfect pup in this special little one.

NOTE: Ozzy was 7 pounds at sterilization (1/18/2024) - DNA test was run on 1/19/2024 and Ozzy and siblings are a mix of American Pitbull Terrier (34.8%), Labrador (33.6%), American Staffordshire Terrier (11.3%), American Bulldog (8.6%), German Shepherd (5.6%) and Supermutt (6.1%). How 'bout that for an adorable mix of cuteness?
