STEP FORWARD! It’s time to meet 🌟Oz, the Great & Powerful!🌟 Oz is a 10 year old Shih Tzu/Wire Haired Dachshund mix. He weighs about 30lbs. Oz had a bit of a rough start and was living outside. Since being rescued, he has quickly and wonderfully acclimated to indoor living and is now ready to find his forever home! They say a heart is shown not by how much you love, but by how much you are loved by others, which I suppose means that Oz has one of the biggest hearts of all! He’s a charmer and wins over everyone he meets with his delightful quirks and distinct personality.
Key points about Oz-
💚 Oz gets along with dogs of any size. As an older gentleman, he’s not looking to get on with in-your-face high energy youngsters. We’re unsure how he is with cats.
💚 He would prefer a home where someone would be home more often and isn’t a fan of crating. When you do come home, expect a big smile and a warm greeting!
💚 Oz adores his caretakers and is often looking to be near them. He’s very affectionate and loves to snuggle, especially on the couch.
💚 Despite his age, he’s still active! Oz greatly enjoys his walks, car rides and above all toys! Oz LOVES to play with toys, especially squeaky ones! He absolutely lights up when you pull them out. Once playtime is over, he’s ready to laze around in a dog bed.

Once we receive a completed application that is APPROVED, we will do a vet check. If everything goes well, then we will set up meet & greets. Just because you apply for a foster dog, that doesn’t mean you will be called in regards to your application.
Oz is neutered, microchipped and current on all vaccinations, including Rabies, DHPP, Lepto, & Bordetella. He also has been fecal & heartworm tested.
