Miriam is a delightful, stumpy legged terrier mix that adores her humans. This cutie will follow you around the house, gazing at you like you are a super star and would do best in a home where her idols are home most of the time or where she can accompany them to work or on errands. She gets along great with other dogs of all sizes but has not been tested with cats. Miriam is kennel trained, house trained, and learning to walk on the leash. This silly girl is on the mellow side with spurts of zippy zooms around the yard a few times each day with the other canine friends in her foster home. Miriam is curious, playful, affectionate, obedient, social, and adorable. What more could you ask for in a best friend?!
Miriam is a 4-year-old mixed breed rescued from a high-kill shelter. This dog is current on vaccinations, microchipped, 4DX tested, and spayed/neutered. This dog is also tested with other dogs, kennel-trained, and housebroken. We would love for you to meet this dog and see if it might be a good fit for your home.
The first step to adoption is completing an adoption application on our website at www.bounceanimalrescue.org. Pending approval, your application is valid for 1 year, and you will be eligible to request a hold on an individual animal for the Saturday adoption event. The hold does not require that you take the animal home, but ensures you get to meet and make an adoption decision prior to other applicants. Also pending approval, you will be able to acquire foster home contact information, so you inquire on personalities of specific animals.
We do offer midweek private adoption appointments for approved applicants pending staff, foster home, and vetting schedules. Because we are 100% foster-based, private adoption appointments are only offered for individual animals. (If interested in viewing multiple animals at one time, we encourage you to attend our adoption events!)
Please note, we do not have the ability to process adoption applications at our adoption events, so please plan accordingly. If an application is submitted past 5pm on Monday-Thursday, it will begin review the following day. If submitted on Friday-Sunday, it will begin review on Monday. It takes approximately 1-2 business days for an application to be processed.
Our adoption events take place every Saturday from 10am-Noon at Pet Supplies Plus (Front Range Village, 2912 Council Tree Ave #100, Fort Collins, 80525).
