Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Essie! This 1-year-old lab/pit bull terrier mix is 50lbs of sweetness and love! Essie is excellent in the house – she’s housetrained, crate trained, and very calm and well-mannered inside. Her absolute favorite thing to do is cuddle – she’s a total cuddlebug and she LOVES to be petted. She believes she could be a lapdog and will climb right into your lap. She’s also a big fan of toys, especially all things ball! Essie is a smart girl and has learned all of her basic obedience. She has excellent manners both inside the house and out in public. She can be a little shy at first with new people, but she warms up in just a few minutes with proper introductions. She has also been introduced to kids of all ages and loves them even more than adults. She’s very gentle and quickly draws a crowd of kids eager to give her treats and pats at every park she visits! Essie has been great with all of the dogs she’s met, both big and small. She loves to play chase and wrestle! Her foster mom believes she could also live with cats with proper introductions. Essie is looking for a person or family in search of a laid-back and loving companion and cuddle buddy. She will thrive with someone who will continue her training and socialization. She’s a versatile girl who would love to lounge around on the couch or head out for a walk or a trip to the park. Essie is spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm negative, and ready for her forever home! Will you let her snuggle her way into your heart?
