My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Phil is a strong advocate and enthusiast for belly rubs. He’s the best snuggler and loves being a lapdog when allowed. He loves being with people and enjoys following you from room to room. Phil hiked the Appalachian Trail in 2019, and still has many hikes left in him. Loves to play in water and pounce around in snowbanks. He’s super intelligent and loves to show off his many tricks. He’s looking for a lot of acreage to run around and chase chipmunks.

Phil is very reactive especially towards other dogs and resource guards. He has a bite history, but has never injured anyone to the point of needing medical/vet care. He will need a new home that is familiar with training the breed and the typical quirks cattle dogs come with. He would do best in a single dog household without young children.
