My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Lyla, a stunning 1-year-old Labrador mix with a heart as beautiful as her appearance. Lyla is not just sweet but also a bit shy, and she is looking for a supportive family that can help her build confidence and feel secure in her new environment.

This gentle and shy pup has the potential to blossom into a wonderful companion with the right love and patience. Lyla's journey to gaining confidence will be made smoother with a loving family that understands her needs and provides a nurturing and encouraging atmosphere.

If you have the heart to offer support and the patience to help Lyla flourish, consider making her a part of your family. With time and care, Lyla can overcome her shyness and become a cherished member of your household. Bring this beautiful Labrador mix into your life for a bond filled with love, trust, and the joy of watching her grow into a confident and happy canine companion.

Stop in and meet my cute self in person during our adoption hours. For more information, email info@ahconnects.org or call us at 847-697-2880 x: 0, and the staff will be happy to help you.

I hope to meet you soon!

Our dogs and puppies go home spayed/neutered, microchipped, heartworm tested (7 months and over), and up to date on core vaccines, heartworm, flea, and tick preventatives. Their adoption also includes a free-vet exam at one of our participating veterinarians.
