My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Caeser is a GOOFY boy. He has that funny Boxer personality! It makes him extremely lovable. He LOVES being outside in the grass, playing with toys, and soaking in the fresh air and sunshine! He’s housebroken AND crate trained. Walks well on a leash and knows multiple commands. He can be dog selective, it’s kind of up in the air on who he likes and doesn’t like. He is super quiet in his kennel and is very much a couch potato. He has the biggest smile ever.

Age: 4
Housebroken: Yes
Activity Level: Medium
Kids: Likes kids!
Dogs: Picky - we will do meet and greets!
Cats: No
Training Needs: Low
Leash Trained: Yes
Ideal Home: Fenced in yard, lots of toys, kids to play with
Pawgwarts (Hogwarts) House: Hufflepup! Caeser is carefree and always happy. He’s also a toy aficionado!

More about this shelter

Marion Area Humane Society is a 501(c)(3), non-profit organization incorporated in 1967 under ORC 1717. We strive to educate, assist and protect the animals of the Marion area. Since 1986 have operated a shelter to provide a humane environment for homeless animals. In 2011 several generous donors and grants made it possible for a shelter renovation and addition of a separate intake section. MAHS operates a open-admissions shelter with a guilt and fee free surrender policy, to encourage owners who can not properly care or maintain proper living conditions for their pets to do the best thing for the pet. MAHS also provides humane investigations and a spay/neuter voucher program for Marion county.
