My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Gibby, Ace & Poppy - Available for Adoption

Back in April we acquired Gibby & Jazz that each had multiple health issues. While Gibby suffered from ataxia and healing fractures in her legs, Jazz had untreated swimmer’s syndrome. Her crippled body made her have multiple gastrointestinal issues.

Even with their multiple problems, they enjoyed their time with us and they were living life large. They were safe and secure with their foster mom who had foster kittens from time to time so these cats, especially Gibby, were having a second kitten’hood in their foster home where they played hard with the rest of the kittens.

After almost 9 months with Boston’s Forgotten Felines, we had to help Jazz cross over the rainbow bridge. Her condition was getting worse and after doing every test, after multiple x-rays, after trying every medicine that could help her out, her little body just said no more please. It doesn’t feel this way, but we gave her the best gift of not letting her suffer any longer. Now with Jazz gone, her sister from another mother is grieving and missing her best friend.

From our group of 10 kittens, the only two not yet adopted are Ace (B/W Male) and Poppy (Black Female) and they are helping our sweet Gibby heal. They are helping her emotionally and she loves them.

Now we are asking for a super adopter who would open their home to not just a pair of kittens, but to 3-year old Gibby and her giblets.

Gibby is spayed, negative for FeLV and FIV, and up-to-date on all her shots. The pair of kittens, Ace & Poppy, are scheduled to be fixed this month. If you are interested in meeting them, contact Boston's Forgotten Felines on Facebook or at catadoptions@bostonsforgottenfelines.org

Go meet their pets

We are not a shelter but a rescue group. Our cats are at different foster homes. Meet & greet will be coordinated between foster homes and potential adopters once an application is in place.

More about this rescue

Boston streets are flooded with homeless cats and kittens. Some were abandoned, while others are feral (offspring of those abandoned cats.) We are the Feral Cat Warriors who fight to help them survive every single day. Our aim is to ensure that feral cats have a stable and safe shelters, food and medical attention as needed and for strays/abandoned cats to be adopted.
