Lulu is our sweet shy girl. She's a pint-sized gal just coming in at a bit under 35lbs. She will look at you with love in her eyes and joy in her heart once she gets to know you. She's done well with other dogs and loves kids as well. We believe she likely had a home once where she was loved. We think she has a little fear of men and will do better with slow introductions to them. She's met some of the male volunteers and is doing well with them. She's warmed up quickly to the kids she has encountered & likes to get soft pets from them.
Lulu has opened up to play a little fetch here and there and entertains the idea of toys. She will get excited about chasing a ball, then remember how much she loves her human and come back for love and pets before grabbing the ball. Lulu has a cute little bounce when she gets excited, and we know with more love and care her personality will continue to come out.
Lulu doesn't like cats, so it's best her new home is free of kitties. Lulu would like another dog to play with and would likely do well with another friend in the home to show her the ropes & how to be a dog. Lulu is familiar with kennels and would pick up on crate training easily.
Lulu would love a home where she could open up and be loved. It will take her some time to come around to everyone in the home, but we know she can, and she will. She's a sweet little gal just looking to catch a break and find her forever place.
