Meet Dexter, a resilient and brave 2-year-old 8-month-old Rottweiler who has endured unimaginable hardships throughout his short life. He been passed from home to home, suffering from starvation, broken bones, and severe neglect. Despite all the pain and suffering he has endured, Dexter remains a true trooper and a shining angel, grateful for the love, care, and nourishment he has finally received.
Currently, Dexter is facing yet another challenge - a broken back leg and an open wound that has become infected. This injury has been left untreated for three agonizing weeks. However, there is hope on the horizon as we have recently rescued him and taken him to our trusted veterinarian. Tomorrow, he will be meeting with an orthopedic surgeon to determine the best course of action for his healing.
At this stage, Dexter is not available for adoption. However we will be accepting application and take them all into consideration when the time comes. We will choose the application that we feel would be the best home for Dexter. Right now, our primary focus is ensuring his medical needs are met, and that he is provided with the necessary care and attention to stabilize his condition and help him thrive. We are committed to doing everything within our power to restore Dexter's health and give him the chance at a better life.
Once Dexter is ready, he will undoubtedly bring immeasurable joy and happiness to a fortunate family. His resilience, gratitude, and unwavering spirit will leave an indelible mark on the hearts of those fortunate enough to call him their own. Dexter's journey towards recovery may be long, but we are dedicated to standing by his side every step of the way.
