Hello there, I’m Maddie. I am 11 years old and have lived with the same family my whole life. I have lots of energy and I can jump very high so a tall fence is a must in my new home. I am certified as a K9 Good Citizen and can walk well on a leash. I am curious about other dogs walking near me and I am vocal when they pass my house. I do great at doggie daycare and the dog park with other dogs, especially my doggie brother, but I prefer the company of humans of all ages. I have helped raise three small kiddos and would do well in a house with kids. I am very tolerant of their curiosity and energy, plus I like to join in the play. I’m just an overall lovebug looking for a family with a lot of energy that wants a fun and loving companion. I am fully potty trained and although I prefer curling up on the couch, I am also kennel trained. I have some allergies and need a little medicine to keep me from chewing on my paws. Maddie is spayed, up to date on all vaccines, on heartworm preventative, de-wormed, and microchipped. Maddie’s adoption fee is $250.00. All potential adopters are required to fill out and submit an adoption application. Once the application is reviewed and approved a home visit from a rescue representative is scheduled.
