Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Diego is the sweetest dog and the only reason I am choosing to rehome is because my current home is not what he needs. Diego was a rescue from Mexico streets and must have went through trauma because he was terrified of other people and animals when I rescued. He has never barked and didn't wag his tail for many months. He used to flinch at someone approaching him. He has never bit, growled, barked or reacted negatively but you can tell he is a scared little boy because his legs will shake and his tail will tuck. It breaks my heart to have to rehome him but I currently live in an apartment complex and have been with him a year and a half and I believe the environment I am in is not helping him to progress. There are lots of other dogs and people around and when he hears the many strangers all day he is just very shut down and quiet. I have seen what he is like in a privatized yard/home and he's a different dog. I want him to be happy. I'll only rehome to a private home/yard.
