Roxy is a cute and cuddly coonhound mix who is looking for a new home. Roxy is in a NJ foster now.

Roxy was adopted from WOI in May 2020. On January 9th we received a call from the Bergen Co. Animal Shelter that Roxy had been surrendered. Her owners said they no longer had time for her and she didn't seem to be a fan of their toddler - a tale we hear too often... Our amazing team got her into a foster home by January 10th.

Roxy is described as a snuggly couch potato! She would prefer to snooze on the couch most of the day and even better if her favorite people can snuggle her. Roxy is now in a foster home with 3 other dogs and doing well. She previously lived with 2 cats. She would also be happy as an only dog.

Roxy is fixed and micro chipped. Roxy is due for vaccines in February so we will get those updated prior to adoption. Her adoption fee will be $45 0.

We require an application. After reviewing the application, your home sounds suitable for the personality of the animal you are looking for, then a home check and a meeting is set up. For our rescue animals an adoption donation is required. All our rescue animals are up to date on shots, heartworm tested or on preventative, dewormed frontlined and have a microchip.

Wag On Inn Rescue, A NJ recognized 501(C)3 organization, located in Freehold, NJ, is a small group of dedicated volunteers, trying to rehome dogs and cats. We have a variety of animals looking for their forever home. The animals are worked with individually to be socialized with other animals and with people. Some of the dogs are obedience trained and housebroken. Special care is also taken in working with animals on basic house manners. We have two types of ways we help the animals. One is our rescue program, where we pull animals from shelters and they stay with us until adopted, we also have a "referal program" where we help owners of pets try to find them new homes. with this program, the pets stay with their owners until a new home is found, and adopted from the owner.
