Butterscotch "Scotch" is a very sweet boy with a big personality. Once he warms up to you he will demand to play fetch with his toys as often as he can. Expect a furry little shadow to follow behind you, always curious as to what you're up to. He loves treats and being around people. He doesn't bark often unless he can clearly hear other dogs barking close by. He's very gentle around other dogs and deescalates tense situations. He loves ALL foods (even celery and other vegetables), and is very treat motivated. He is mostly potty trained but will need a bit more training to be sure he doesn't go inside. He has some sensitivities on where he's pet, and may even become agitated and aggressive if provoked, but he does warn you vocally if he is uncomfortable. Because of this, we will not place him with small kids. He has been through a lot in life and wants to live the rest of it out with people who respect his boundaries and are excited to spend time with him and give him lots of love, as he has a lot of love to give in return!
