My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, my name is Poppy. I'm estimated to be 5 years old. I'm a sweet girl. While in my temporary foster home, I've enjoyed getting to know my new pup friends and the kitties. I love playing with the kids and I've done great with hanging out in the crate for bedtime and when home alone. I know sit. I also dance for treats. When I want held, I rub my humans rubs legs like a cat and then I stand on my hind legs for attention.

Poppy came to us heartworm positive. We are seeking a foster to adopt home so she can finish her treatment while she recovers with her new family. She has actually received all of her injections, and is just waiting for final testing and then will be medically cleared. We expect that to take another 30 days.

Once she is cleared, the adoption will be completed, and Poppy will be a permanent member of your family!
