Athena is around 8 years old and came to us as a stray and her owner never came to pick her up. For her age Athena still has so much life left in her and love to give. She does not show well in the kennel setting but has done well meeting new people with slower introductions.
She came in pretty scroungy looking, thinning/missing hair, flaky skin, underweight. She is filling out wonderfully and her skin/coat is getting so much better. It's so weird what just a little TLC can do for an animal. If she loves you, she loves you…and you can’t help but love her back. 💕 She is other dog selective, but would likely do better with a calmer dog that wasn’t in her face. She has met kids and done well. We are not sure with cats, but she doesn’t seem interested.
